After more than 40 years since its inauguration, the industrial building, located at 26 Wing Kei Road in Kwai Chung will be transformed into a state-of-the-art automated cold chain logistics centre. With expected completion date of fall 2024, the whole building will become the largest automated cold chain warehouse centre in Hong Kong, with a total floor area of over 200,000 square feet.
The groundbreaking ceremony was officiated by Mr. Ivan Ho, Chief Executive Officer (Hong Kong, China) of KaiLong Group, and Mr. John Chan, Chairman and Managing Director of Reitar Logtech Group. This project is a major investment for KaiLong Group in the field of smart logistics warehousing and an important milestone. We believe that through our cooperation with Reitar Logtech Group, the two companies can achieve more breakthroughs and innovations in the field of smart logistics.”
Mr. John Chan, Chairman and Managing Director of Reitar Logtech Group, said: “This conversion project for an automated and intelligent cold chain logistics centre marks the first collaboration between KaiLong Group and Reitar Logtech Group in the field of smart logistics, and represents an important step forward for both parties’ investment and development in this area.
