Reitar Logtech Holdings’ Subsidiary KCC Partners with Callista Foods to Upgrade Tai Po InnoPark’s Food Production Facilities—Advancing Toward a Smart Manufacturing Era
- October 27, 2025

Reitar Logtech (NASDAQ:RITR) announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, KAMUI Cold Chain Engineering and Service Limited (“KCC”), has been commissioned by Callista Foods Limited (“Callista Foods”) to undertake an intelligent upgrade project valued around HKD 20 million. Located in the Tai Po InnoPark, the project aims to transform a traditional food production facility into a modern manufacturing base encompassing smart temperature control, automated processes, and advanced quality monitoring systems — marking a major step forward for Hong Kong’s food industry toward smart manufacturing.
The project was officially unveiled at the commencement ceremony of the “Tai Po Food Precision Manufacturing Center.” Leveraging its strong expertise in cold chain engineering design and implementation, KCC will assist Callista Foods in building an intelligent production platform that combines food safety, operational efficiency, and innovation, supporting the company’s long-term strategy for smart food research and manufacturing.
Callista Foods is an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Convenience Retail Asia (HKEX: 00831), primarily specializes in designing and manufacturing bakery products for corporate clients, providing comprehensive bakery solutions. Its clients include airlines, luxury hotels, and renowned chain retail brands, demonstrating its strong industry influence. Convenience Retail Asia, is one of the retail companies of the Fung Group, operating over 170 retail stores under the Saint Honore Cake Shop, Mon cher and Zoff brands in Hong Kong, Macau, Guangzhou and Singapore and is expanding to the Greater Bay Area.
In recent years, Reitar has continuously strengthened its vertical integration across the food supply chain. The company has partnered with Rich Harvest Group to develop a smart agriculture ecosystem, collaborated with China’s leading casual catering supply chain platform Xianmu Technology to establish an AI-driven smart catering supply chain platform, and invested in constructing Hong Kong’s largest automated cold-chain logistics center. This collaboration with Callista Foods marks the first step in their partnership and signifies Reitar’s further extension from cold-chain logistics and agricultural traceability into intelligent upgrades in food manufacturing — reinforcing its end-to-end control from origin to processing to retail.
Convenience Retail Asia stated that upon completion, the project is expected to leverage modern bakery equipment to enhance capacity and efficiency, further boosting the group’s business opportunities, product supply, market competitiveness, and operational efficiency. This will enable greater market responsiveness and accelerate product innovation. This initiative is highly aligned with Reitar’s mission of modernizing the food supply chain through technological innovation.
Against the backdrop of a continually warming bakery market, both Hong Kong and the greater Asian region are witnessing a new wave of transformation in the bakery industry. According to industry reports for 2025, the global bakery market is moving towards health-conscious, sustainable, and smart manufacturing development. Consumers are increasingly focused on nutritional value and personalization, leading to rapid growth in demand for premium and cross-cultural flavored products. The surging demand for frozen and “bake-off” bakery products is also accelerating the modernization of equipment and the intelligence upgrade of supply chains for food manufacturers.
Upon completion, the Tai Po production base will rely on smart temperature control, process optimization, and efficient management to ensure food safety. The project will also provide Callista Foods with a new platform compatible with future transformation, accelerating every stage from product development and production to the dining table to deliver better quality experiences for consumers.
