Promoting Environmental Upcycling and Uniting Social Forces to Realize Inclusion
- July 26, 2024

Reiter volunteer team recently participated in the “Food Sharing Project” volunteer activity organized by the New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association. This was the second time the event was held, with a new handcraft workshop component added this year.
Through the “Coffee Grounds Upcycling Experience” activity, we advocated for waste recycling and the importance of social inclusion. We also donated the recycled coffee grounds to the elderly participants and together made eco-friendly coffee ground sachets. The interactive exchange allowed us to better understand the daily lives of the service users and encouraged everyone to practice environmental protection in their daily lives.
Furthermore, Reitar sponsored handmade noodles and organic soy milk produced by the association’s sheltered workshop, which was then distributed to local underprivileged groups. Our volunteers were delighted to have the opportunity to interact with the community, understand their needs, and give back to society through practical actions.
Looking ahead, Reitar will actively participate in more environmental protection and charitable activities, support sustainable development, promote social inclusion, and bring positive changes to the community.
